21:24
أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةًۭ ۖ قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَـٰنَكُمْ ۖ هَـٰذَا ذِكْرُ مَن مَّعِىَ وَذِكْرُ مَن قَبْلِى ۗ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ ۖ فَهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ ٢٤
Or have they chosen other gods beside Him? say: Bring your proof (of their godhead). This is the Reminder of those with me and those before me, but most of them know not the Truth and so they are averse.
Or have they taken gods besides Him? Say, [O Muhammad], "Produce your proof. This [Qur'an] is the message for those with me and the message of those before me." But most of them do not know the truth, so they are turning away.
Have they taken gods other than Him? Say, (O Muhammad): "Bring forth your proof! Here is the Book with admonition for those of my time and there are also scriptures with admonition for people before me." But most people do not know the Truth, and have, therefore, turned away from it.
يَقُولُ تَعَالَى: بَلِ ﴿اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ آلِهَةً قُلْ﴾ يَا مُحَمَّدُ: ﴿هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ﴾ أَيْ: دَلِيلَكُمْ عَلَى مَا تَقُولُونَ، ﴿هَذَا ذِكْرُ مَنْ مَعِيَ﴾ يَعْنِي: الْقُرْآنَ، ﴿وَذِكْرُ مَنْ قَبْلِي﴾ يَعْنِي: الْكُتُبَ الْمُتَقَدِّمَةَ عَلَى خِلَافِ مَا تَقُولُونَ وَتَزْعُمُونَ، فَكُلُّ كِتَابٍ أُنْزِلَ عَلَى كُلِّ نَبِيٍّ أُرْسِلَ، نَاطِقٌ بِأَنَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَلَكِنْ أَنْتُمْ أَيْهَا الْمُشْرِكُونَ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ الْحَقَّ، فَأَنْتُمْ مُعْرِضُونَ عَنْهُ؛ وَلِهَذَا قَالَ: ﴿وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رَسُولٍ إِلا يُوحَى [[في ف، أ: "نوحي".]] إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلا أَنَا فَاعْبُدُونِ﴾ ، كَمَا قَالَ: ﴿وَاسْأَلْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رُسُلِنَا أَجَعَلْنَا مِنْ دُونِ الرَّحْمَنِ آلِهَةً يُعْبَدُونَ﴾ [الزُّخْرُفِ: ٤٥] ، وَقَالَ: ﴿وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَسُولا أَنِ اُعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاجْتَنِبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ﴾ [النَّحْلِ:٣٦] ، فَكُلُّ نَبِيٍّ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ يَدْعُو إِلَى عِبَادَةِ اللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَالْفِطْرَةُ شَاهِدَةٌ بِذَلِكَ أَيْضًا، وَالْمُشْرِكُونَ لَا بُرْهَانَ لَهُمْ، وَحُجَّتُهُمْ دَاحِضَةٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ، وَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ، وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ.

The name of this Surah has not been taken from any verse but it has been called Al-Anbiyaa because it contains a continuous account of many Anbiyaa (Prophets). Nevertheless, it is a symbolic name and not a title.
