۞ مَّآ أَشْهَدتُّهُمْ خَلْقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا خَلْقَ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمَا كُنتُ مُتَّخِذَ ٱلْمُضِلِّينَ عَضُدًۭا ٥١
I made them not to witness the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor their own creation; nor choose I misleaders for (My) helpers.
I did not make them witness to the creation of the heavens and the earth or to the creation of themselves, and I would not have taken the misguiders as assistants.
I did not call them to witness the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor in their own creation. I do not seek the aid of those who lead people astray.
يَقُولُ تَعَالَى: هَؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذْتُمُوهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِنْ دُونِي عَبِيدٌ أَمْثَالُكُمْ، لَا يَمْلِكُونَ شَيْئًا، وَلَا أَشْهَدْتُهُمْ خَلْقِي لِلسَّمَوَاتِ [[في ف، أ: "خلق السموات".]] وَالْأَرْضِ، وَلَا كَانُوا إِذْ ذَاكَ مَوْجُودِينَ، يَقُولُ تَعَالَى: أَنَا الْمُسْتَقِلُّ بِخَلْقِ الْأَشْيَاءِ كُلِّهَا، وَمُدَبِّرُهَا وَمُقَدِّرُهَا وَحْدي، لَيْسَ مَعِي فِي ذَلِكَ شَرِيكٌ وَلَا وَزِيرٌ، وَلَا مُشِيرٌ وَلَا نَظِيرٌ، كَمَا قَالَ: ﴿قُلِ ادْعُوا الَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلا فِي الأرْضِ وَمَا لَهُمْ فِيهِمَا مِنْ شِرْكٍ وَمَا لَهُ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ ظَهِيرٍ وَلا تَنْفَعُ الشَّفَاعَةُ عِنْدَهُ إِلا لِمَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ﴾ الْآيَةَ [سَبَإٍ: ٢٣، ٢٢] ؛ وَلِهَذَا قَالَ: ﴿وَمَا كُنْتُ مُتَّخِذَ الْمُضِلِّينَ عَضُدًا﴾ قَالَ مَالِكٌ: أَعْوَانًا.
